The company is involved in R&D of innovative products and technologies, production of various ready dosage forms, active pharmaceutical ingredients of the chemical nature and biotechnology substances, market access of modern high-performance pharmaceuticals, cooperation with major international pharmaceutical companies and international universities in the field of drug development and combined clinical trials in Russia, education and training of specialists for pharmaceutical industry and healthcare. The company owns manufacturing sites in Russia (Novosibirsk, Kostromskaya and Moscow regions, Yaroslavl, Rostov-Velikiy), Research and manufacturing centers in Japan, Germany, Turkey and the USA.

The "Scholarship on the development of pharmaceutical industry" project has been developing for 5 years. In May 2012 the Supervisory Board of the Strategic Initiative Agency on the Development of New Projects under the chairmanship of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin approved the joint master's program of R-Pharm and Tomsk Polytechnic University named "Academy of pharmaceutical and biotechnological industry".
The company has been implementing an extensive education and training program for talented Russian students and young scientists in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, the USA, Japan and China.
